Two Good Scents || Review and Giveaway

*This is a sponsored post.  I was given these products from Two Good Scents to review and giveaway free of charge.  All opinions are honest and my own.

I can’t believe it is the middle of summer already.  Actually closing in on the latter portion of it too.  It has been a summer of good times and great memories.  I have been fortunate enough to have spent some quality time out in that hot summer heat.  Most days you could find me soaking up the sun on the deck.  Probably testing out new recipes for slushy drinks or tasting all the wines.  Playing with the boys in the pool trying not to drown or floating leisurely around.  Depending on which of my nephews were in the pool and what kind of mood they were in.  Or with my toes in the sand at the beach.  I know, super rough.

As great as all that fun and sun is it can be rough, at least for my skin.  The climate here is very dry.  My skin is still adjusting to it since moving from the more humid weather on the coast and combined with all the salt water from the pool my skin gets a serious beating.  If I am not careful I would end up with dragon scales instead of the silky smooth skin I want.  I am a big fan of body products.  It is super important to take care of your skin.  Especially because even though I like to reminisce with Taylor some times, I am not 22 anymore.  Dry and god forbid flaky skin is such a turn off for me.

I am always looking to try new products out and see what works for me.  So I was super excited when Nancy from Two Good Scents contacted me to try out their body scrubs.  She let me pick out a couple of the scents on their website and then sent them to me to try.  It was really hard to pick out just a couple they have sooooo many great sounding ones to choose from.  I finally narrowed it down to the Lemon Cookie Sugar Scrub and the Coconut Cream Pie Sugar Scrub.  Yum.

Finally the day came when they arrived.  I was really excited that she sent the full 8 oz size tubs of the two I had chosen.  I was expecting more of a sample size to show up.  She was such a darling and threw in a sample size of the Sweet Pineapple one as well.  This girl can read my mind because it was really hard not to choose that one.  I opened those babies up to take a whiff of each one.  Delicious.  Why do I have to scrub this stuff all over my body? I want to eat it.  Yes, every drop.  Unfortunately, they are not edible.  Go figure.

I decided to try out the Coconut Cream scrub first.  Coconut and summer is probably my favourite combination besides peanut butter and well anything really.  That stuff is my kryptonite.  I loved the consistency of the scrub.  It was really soft and creamy with just the right amount of grit to it.  I hate it when I get a body scrub that feels like rubbing sand paper over my body.  No, thank you.  This stuff is great.  I love that it feels gentle enough on my skin but still has enough power to keep my elbows and heels soft.  I also like the subtle, light scent that it leaves behind. It has been a few weeks now and I have been rotating through the tubs.  I really like all three and would be hard pressed to pick a favourite.  If really had to choose I would probably have to go with the Coconut Cream pie.

I am very curious about a bunch of the other flavours I mean scents.  I am definitely going to have to order some once it comes time to refill.  I love that they ship to Canada.  Another great thing about these scrubs is the affordability of them.  The $10 price tag on each 8 oz tub will give me no guilt when I can’t choose between the scents and start loading up my cart.
Now the best part of all of this since I can’t eat them is that Nancy offered to giveaway some of their awesome scrubs to my amazing readers! Yes, you too can have the soft and delicious smelling skin that I have been bragging about for free! She’s giving away 2 of the 8oz tubs to each of the lucky winners.  That is right.  There will be not just one but two winners!  The giveaway will be open for until next Tuesday.  I will announce the winner on my blog as well as on social media.  After that you can go to their website and start salivating over the flavours.  Nancy will contact the winners by email to find out your choices and arrange for shipping  Good luck!
