It is Wednesday again and you know what that means.  Yep, Wanderlust Wednesday it is.  So pull up a chair, the couch, your bed however you feel most comfy.  Pour some coffee, tea or wine.  Whatever you feel is appropriate.  Today we are travelling back to the second port day of our last cruise, Martinique.
This is a beautiful island.  As all it seems all Caribbean islands are really.  We did a walking tour of around the city Fort-de-France.  We had hoped to go on an act fort tour but it turned out the one we wanted to go to is a active military base so that was out of the question.  A little more research was needed there apparently.  Not my department, that is my story and I am sticking to it.  Actually, a lot of the things we thought we could and should be able to tour we closed to the public.  Which is weird and not something we were used to experiencing.
I think I am going to keep my blabbing short and sweet today.  Wanderlust Wednesday in pictures.  So, without further adieu, this is what we saw what around this vibrant little town.

And that folks was Martinique.  A lot of the sights we wanted to see were closed/gated off to the public.   The library looked like it was a sight to see.  I would of loved to be able to go into it.  This is one of those ports that should have a MUST BOOK SHORE  EXCURSION HERE label on it.  Plus, it was really hot and the city is old which is beautiful but not really wheelchair friendly.  I would love to go back and experience more here in the future though.
