Wanderlust Wednesday : Our 5th in Grand Turk

Last week we were at Margaritaville in Grand Turk.  It was quite picture heavy so I wanted to split it into two posts.  I think you know where this is going from there.  Yes, ok good.
We happened to arrive in Grand Turk on November the 7th which is our anniversary.  This year marked the 5th such occurrence.  My sister and her husband’s anniversary is the 4th of November.  We tend to vacation this exact time every time either to Disney or cruising to mark the occasions and sometimes both.  Cruising seems to be the winner the last couple years.  As it has for next year as well.  Once you have been bit by the cruise bug there is no getting rid of it.  We are still doing Disney of course just at different times of the year.  Although, I must say I do miss going during the holiday season.  There really is nothing more magical than Disney at Christmas.
I am going to try to get back on point here.  I have a tendency to ramble in real life and it spills out here just as often.  We reluctantly got back on board the ship after our amazing day on shore.  We headed back to our rooms to get ready for dinner.  The view of the sun setting was absolutely stunning from our balcony.  We took some time out to enjoy it and take a million pictures of it.

Once ready we all headed down to the dining room for dinner.   We had kind of wanted to make a reservation at the Steakhouse on board but then changed our minds once on board.  We found out something we hadn’t realized before.  One can order off the steakhouse menu in the dinning room if one so wishes too.  The options for me were far better in the dining room.  Plus, we knew the kids would be more comfortable there.  Scott ordered his lobster that he was looking forward to and all was well on the high seas.  Well, maybe except for Sebastian’s friend.

We ate, drank, stuffed ourselves and drank some more till we were silly.  Headed back to the room later for something? I said drank a little right.  This cute guy was waiting for us with his little love token.

Then we headed back out to a comedy show.  The nightly thing to do if I haven’t already mentioned that.  Then we headed out to the Lido deck for some more drinks, some popcorn and Guardians of the Galaxy.

We listened to a little music on the deck before the movie started.  I must say this is definitely my favourite movie theatre ever.  What could be better than movies under the stars.  Especially on wear your robe on deck night.

This was definitely a great way to end the day.  A fabulous way to celebrate our anniversary.  Next year it will be a sea day for our anniversary.  I imagine that will be pretty damn good too.
