Wanderlust Wednesday : Countdown to Magic

It seems like it was a lifetime ago since I first announced our upcoming cruise. Just click the link to find out the details of it all if you like. It might as well have been since we booked it back at the beginning of the year. Those first few months went by at a snails pace but the last have flown by. Summer tends to do that. Which is sad for summer but happy for a crazy wanderluster waiting for a sail away party.

Since we are getting so close, only 46 days to sailing and just 44 till we actually leave for our vacation I thought I would share with you some of the things I am looking forward to on this next Caribbean adventure. Time to pull out a list because I am pretty sure you are not a real blogger if you don’t love a good list. I think it has been awhile since I posted one so we must be due.

// First off, I am super excited to be sailing on the Carnival Magic. I have wanted to sail on this ship for a while now. Four Carnival Cruises later and I am finally getting the chance.

// We are going to be in Galveston, Texas for Halloween and have planned to a fun day at Pleasure Pier. I love amusement parks and have always wanted to go to one on a pier. This will be a first and something I can cross off my bucket list. Actually, this vacation is going to help me cross a few items off this list.

// Swimming with Dolphins. While I think this is going to be really cool, my sister has been wanting to do this for as long as I can remember. She is finally going to get to do and I am so excited to be able to share the experience with her.

// After the cruise we are going to be spending a couple of days in Houston. The highlight of this is going to be a trip to the Space Center.

// Frozen fruity drinks on the deck by the pool in the sun. Possibly a novel in hand as well. Ok, let’s be honest I will definitely have my e-reader close by.

// Movies under the stars.

// Not having to cook, clean or do laundry for a week. Two thumbs up to the amazing crew that will be looking after all our needs.

// Tubing down a lazy jungle river.

// Finally getting to go to Cozumel.

// Late night comedy shows.

// Sea Turtles and stingrays.

// Vlogging. Yep, we are going to attempt it this trip.

// Towel animals.

// Water as far as the eye can see.

// Oh, those sunsets.

// Watching my nephews have the time of their lives.

// Access to pizza 24 hrs. Who am I kidding? All the food.

// Rum or tequila tours. Just pick an island.

// Going to Hell.

// Getting another Starbucks mug for my ever growing collection.

// Not having a care in the world with the Caribbean sun beating down on my face.

// Making amazing memories with my family that I will treasure for a lifetime.

This list could go on and on my friend. I am pretty sure it is the list that could never end. I’ll spare you for now of that though. Half way there with 23 things I am looking forward to in 46 days and counting.
