High Fifty for Friday

Happy Friday the 13th! This week went by really fast, like lightening.  First off it was a short week since Monday was a holiday.  Work was a breeze this week which always makes it easier to get through the day.  Thought I would share some highlights this week with you again cause that’s what Fridays are for.   Linking up with Amanda again.

Well, today is release day for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie.  I was on the fence to whether or not I wanted to watch this.  I just don’t know if they will do it justice or should I say him?  haha.  Isn’t that the case with any book to movie adaptation though? Although, I would love to go and see it this weekend someone else cough cough would not.  So I am going to go with my sister in law on Tuesday.  This is also the first time that I will be going to see a book on film that I haven’t re-read before seeing it.  It didn’t even occur to me to do so until early this week.  I think I might be broken?

Kari from The Kari Diaries is one of my favourite bloggers.  I just love the way she thinks and her fabulously witty writing style.  So I was super excited this week when she announced that she wrote a short story.  I had to read it immediately.  I completely fell in love with it and I was sad when I finished it.  I totally wanted to read more.  Click the picture above for Kari’s link so you can read it too!
I was commenting on an Instagram pic this week and this happened. Now I get the U and there there is no hiding of my love for wine.  What I am unsure of is how it could of come up with Edward as the first suggestion.  There is no denying there is love there but really?  That is a lot more than just predictive text I must say.

The final instalment of one of my favourite series came out this week.  Unfortunately, I can’t buy it because of my Frugal February.  Apparently, I have waited a year already so another 2 weeks isn’t going to kill me?  Since it is half way through the month almost I thought I would also add I am doing quite well not spending.  It is pretty shocking actually.  If I could just get my sister to stop sending me pictures/talking about all the amazing stuff she is buying maybe this tinge of green would leave my skin.
Frozen fruit not just for smoothies.  I complained the week before about my not so good first wine back.  This one totally made up for it.  White wine for the win.  Every. Damn. Time.

Hope you all have a great weekend and a fabulous Valentine’s Day! Scott is taking me to my favourite wine bar and depending on how things go there maybe to a movie.  We will see how well the wine is flowing.
