finally posting something friday

Wow, where does all the time go.  This is the first time I have actually opened my computer in weeks.  I logged into Bloglov’n and almost had a heart attack.  Over 400 unread posts.  Yikes.  Unfortunately, that is a little too overwhelming and I just had to mark as read and move forward.  I thought I was keeping up with my reading a tad bit better than that? Apparently not.  Sorry ladies.

It has been a while since I have graced these blogging halls.  I just haven’t had the time to sit down and write.  Plus, I honestly haven’t really had much to talk about either.  Life has been full of too much work and well….quite frankly that is boring to write or hear about.  I do miss being here though.  I am going to try to figure out how to get here more often again.  Not sure what that means but it means something other than months of radio silence.

I did manage to get away to Vancouver last weekend for a wedding though.  It was amazing and I am planning to blog about it as soon as I get a minute to upload the pictures.  Which is excitement all in itself.  Scott made my big girl dreams come true last week when he suggested it was time to get me my big girl camera! He decided that it would be cool to have a better camera for our upcoming vacation. Of course, I took the camera to the wedding so I could start practicing with it.  It was pretty exciting and a bit frustrating.  Although, the frustration could of been caused by trying to figure it all out right now with my wine googles on.  Also, good practice for the cruise.  20 days!

Anyways, I just wanted to check in and let you all know that I am still alive.  With Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday, it is a holiday weekend here.  Yay.  Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers.  I am hoping to hit a winery or a pumpkin patch or something this weekend.  There will of course be family dinner on Sunday.  Looking forward to relaxing, wining and eating all the veggie stuffing I can handle.  Yum. Do you have any big plans or traditions for this weekend?
