Anywhere But Here

Yesterday was a rough day.  One of those days when you just need to come home pour the biggest glass of wine ever, some of your favourite chocolate, surf your way to Stars Hollow and not look back.  I realized a few hours later that I still needed to write a post for today and it was getting late.  I would have to finish up that coffee at Luke’s and come back to reality if I was going to get anything scheduled.  

Since it is Wanderlust Wednesday, I thought I would do just that.  A little wanderlust list.  I am going to call it my anywhere but here list.  Not that running away is the answer but dreaming about all that fabulous places I want to go makes my heart happy.  That is always a good thing.  So if I could pack my bags and leave right now these are these are things I am imagining myself doing.  Some may involve some sort of worm hole/space-time continuum thingy but they are my dreams and I don’t care.  

  • a Parisian sidewalk cafe sipping coffee by day or wine by night
  • basking in the St. Lucia sun on that beach up there
  • a gondola ride along the Grand Canal in Venice
  • playing Dutch Blitz at my best friends kitchen table
  • people watching anywhere really in Disney with Krystal
  • watching my cousins play hockey with my family
  • an Australian adventure with my mom
  • a Beer Hunters baseball game 
  • Earl’s with the girls somewhere in SW Calgary
  • hand in hand with Scott staring in complete awe out over Loch Ness trying to see if we can catch a glimpse of Nessie
  • Seeing how fast the tub really fills at the Savoy in London.  
  • ANYTHING in NYC
  • camping on Long Beach on Vancouver Island
  • a luau on Oahu 
  • lost staring at a roadmap somewhere along the 101, I-77, I-80 or the Trans Canada Hwy
  • lost drifting along with the current at Atlantis 

I could keep going forever I am sure but I won’t.  I may need some material for another time.  haha.  If you could be doing anything else right now what would it be?
