A Little Extra Grenada

Last week, we were in Grenada for Wanderlust Wednesday.  There was a lot going on that day so I decided to split it into two parts.  Clearly, this is now going to be the second part.  For the first part if you missed here click here.

One of the highlights of the cruise was dinner in the dining room every night.  There was always some form of entertainment.  The staff were amazing, as always.  The food, oh my all the food.  It is really hard to stop shoving stuff in your face here.  I mean, you just want to eat EVERY. DAMN. THING.  Well, not just here.  Anywhere on the ship really and they never stop making it.  You either have to have amazing willpower or be ok with coming home 10 lbs heavier.  I swear the only thing stopping me is making sure I still have enough room for ALL. THE.  DRINKS.  Glutton, table for nine because thankfully I am not alone on this boat.

This first picture was of the dance procession that was making its way around the dining room.  The guy in front was our head waiter, Komang.  That guy was seriously awesome.  He was followed by my nephew Nick and his mom.

This particular dinner was special because it was my sister and her husband’s wedding anniversary.  8th to be picky They got a special song and dessert of course.  Complete with all the customary blushing from my sister.  It really was a good time.

After that we headed to the theatre to catch a show.  I ordered a Bellini and was a little disappointed because I was expecting one of the frozen variety.  Not that it ended up mattering.  I had one sip of it and then shortly after started feeling very ill.  I ended up going back to my room for the night before the show even started.  Bummer.

I’m not saying I am blaming this drink for abruptly ending my night since it is too much of a coincidence for it to happen so quickly but if the wine glass fits.
